God is looking for men willing to stand in the gap.
“I searched for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand in the gap before Me for the land, so that I would not destroy it; but I found no one.”
Ezekiel 22:30
God is looking. Are you responding?
Or has Christianity become sitting in church once a week, listening to a sermon, and going home?
“Who will stand up for me against evildoers? Who will take his stand for me against those who do wickedness?”
Psalm 94:16
God isn't looking only for seminary graduates, ordained ministers, polished speakers, or men with impressive résumés.
He is looking for people willing to obey Him.
Moses didn't think he could speak. Gideon didn't think he was qualified. David failed terribly. Elijah became discouraged. Peter denied Christ. Thomas doubted. Paul once persecuted Christians.
Yet God used them.
God doesn't need an impressive résumé. He wants willing servants.
You don't need a title to obey God. You don't need government recognition to preach the gospel. You don't need a seminary degree to tell sinners the truth.
You need faith, obedience, courage, and a willingness to count the cost.
Warriors for Christ exists to take the gospel beyond the walls of the church.
We believe in prayer, but we didn't come merely to pray.
We came to preach Christ.
We believe in helping people, but we didn't come merely to make sinners comfortable.
We came to call sinners to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.
We didn't come seeking the approval of the world.
We came to tell the world the truth.
Jesus said:
“If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross daily and follow Me.”
Luke 9:23
This work isn't always easy. It can mean long days, bad weather, opposition, ridicule, and sacrifice.
Count the cost anyway.
Pray with us. Join us on an outreach. Help when we come to your city. Hold a banner. Support the work. Put action behind what you say you believe.
“The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.”
Matthew 9:37
The harvest doesn't need more spectators.
It needs laborers.
